We are thrilled to announce the newest addition to our team at Latrobe Animal Clinic! Please join us in welcoming Dr. Kendall Pochet [DVM] who will be joining us as a general practitioner veterinarian with a special interest in soft tissue surgery! If you’ve been coming to our clinic for some time now, you may recognize Dr. Kendall! She started with us as a member of our support staff/technician team and followed her dreams of becoming a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. We couldn’t be more proud or excited to have her back! Dr. Kendall grew up in Latrobe, PA. She graduated from the University of Findlay with a BS in Animal Science. Dr. Kendall then decided to follow in our current veterinarian’s footsteps and attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts. Her clinical year was completed at the University of Florida. Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Kendall loves to spend time with her family, friends, 2 dogs - Ryder and Lily, and cat - Hazel. Please stop by and say hello or schedule your pet’s next visit to meet Dr. Kendall. Dr. Kendall will start seeing appointments and performing surgery January 6, 2025! Latrobe Animal Clinic is excited to announce that we are now offering laser therapy! Our first patient, Annie, has a congenital spinal defect and bilateral ACL tears that were previously surgically corrected. Currently, she is dealing with pain in her lumbar spine and osteoarthritis in both knees. Laser therapy is shown to be beneficial in a number of animal conditions and we’ve seen it work absolute miracles in some cases.
